Engineered Floors? Yes or No
Above you can see an 8'‘ wide plank white oak floor we installed. It is an engineered hardwood floor. We love engineered floors as long as the wear layer is thick enough. Some people believe engineered wood floors are cheap or not as good as solid wood floors. This is not the case at all. A good quality engineered wood floor is more stable and durable. With an engineered wood floor you can expect less gaps and movement long term. We are using recycled rubber underlayments for our flooring installations. This creates superior sound absorption and makes your floor feel very stable.
